About the Designer
Hi! My name is Mina and I am a lifelong resident of Minnesota, USA. I have always been interested in creative projects, from taking photos, paper collage, and ceramics to gardening and interior design. I first learned Photoshop and video production as a teenager in the late 1990s, through a nonprofit organization that came to be named In Progress. I was an editor for my high school's newspaper and a yearbook staff so was involved in layout and use of Adobe Pagemaker at that time. My first degree was in Filmmaking... then I switched paths and had an education career primarily focused on Special Education for about two decades. In January 2025 I returned to community college to pursue a degree in Graphic Design, which has expanded my experience and skills with Adobe Illustrator and updated my digital layout skills.
